| Bio: | In case you were wondering: it's pronounced roz-in-dee. 'S Welsh, as am I. Though I'm not fluent or militant about it. I imagine I'll be using this mostly to put what I've been writing in as I'm not very good at talking about day-to-day stuff outside the pub. Sometimes I write a lot, sometimes hardly at all, sometimes it's slash, sometimes it's het, sometimes it's angst, sometimes it's fluff: this depends totally on the muse and has very little to do with me, unfortunately. Pairings I like? Too many, and they flit about. I've gone through both RPS and FPS and I've enjoyed very dark stories and very fluffy stories. I'm happy to read deathfic or extreme H/C and BDSM, so my squick tolerance is pretty high. I quite enjoy crack!fic too. Stories are more about the journey than the destination and if it's well written- then hell, all you can do is lie back and be carried along by the music. My first:- Slash pairing: Holmes/Watson. RPS pairing: Colin Mochrie/Ryan Stiles (Whose Line). Het pairing: Mina/Dracula. Guilty shameful secret pairing: Hermione Granger/Severus Snape. (I'll willingly own up to reading and writing Real Person fic, but you'll have to haul me over hot coals to get me to admit there's something I actually like about Harry Potter.) My faults are many and my virtues are few. I'm not very good with women, really. I can be abrupt and rude and stubborn and distant and cruel and very critical and cynical, and I know for a fact that I'm awkward and clumsy and tone deaf without any sense of rhythm. I am slightly random. I think I'm reasonably intelligent, or at least smarter than the average bear. I have a piece of paper with my name on that says I willingly spent the best part of sixteen grand for a four year holiday in which I occasionally had to read a book and sit a test. I have a creative spark. I get bored with gossip. I hate management speak almost as much as I hate the idea of management as a psuedo-science. I laugh long and hard at things other people don't get (probably because they aren't funny, but who knows?). I'm geeky. I can be fascinated by anything, if told right. I like to learn. I can roll my tongue. I drink too much. I like in-jokes. I have a strong associative memory and think of most things in term of shapes and textures on my tongue. I have a kind streak. I ask stupid questions. I wonder why so few people listen to what is actually being said. I know how to make beer and whisky. I'm pale and stay up late. If you'd like to friend me, feel free.
